Tina M. Welp, age 45 of Jasper, Indiana, formerly of Loogootee, passed away at 4:44 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital.
Tina was born in Jasper, Indiana on March 8, 1973 to Tom and Mildred (Hembree) Welp.
Tina worked for 25 years in the health care field. She enjoyed camping, fishing, vacationing near the ocean, derby’s, her dog Maddie Jo, and being with family and friends.
Surviving is one son; Willis Welp (Chelsea), Jasper, one daughter; Mary Welp, Jasper, mother; Mildred Hill, Jasper, two sisters; Susan Schmitt (James), Jasper, and Becky Schmidt (Ed), Portersville, three brothers; Bryan Hurd (Cathi), Bicknell, Bobby Hurd, Shoals, and Fred Welp (Ruthie), Petersburg, several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her father, Tom Welp.
Funeral services for Tina M. Welp will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018 at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow at a later date at the Loogootee Goodwill Cemetery. Rev. John Simmons will officiate.
A visitation will be held from Noon until the 4:00 p.m. service time on Friday, March 23, 2018 at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper. IN.
