Orville Gene Lemond, age 60, of Huntingburg, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018, at his residence.

He was born August 2, 1957, in Huntingburg, Indiana to Peter and Cordelia (Uppencamp) Lemond.  Orville was a long-time employee of the Huntingburg Vault Company.  He was preceded in death by his father, Peter Lemond.

Orville is survived by five children, Jennifer Hopper of Dale, April Gramelspacher, Rose Miller, Cory Lemond and Summer Lemond all of Jasper; his mother and step-father, Cordelia (Jim) Lemond of Huntingburg; two brothers, David Lemond and Pete Lemond Jr. both of Huntingburg; and by five grandchildren.

A celebration of life reception for Orville Lemond will be held from 1:00-5:00 p.m., on Sunday, April 15, 2018, at the Duff Conservation Club near Duff, Indiana.  Interment will follow at Mayo Cemetery at a later date.  Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the arrangements.  Condolences may be shared with the family online at:  www.nassandson.com
