An investigation into a suspicious looking package found at a Ferdinand manufacturing facility Wednesday evening found that the item was of no danger.

Just before 8:30 last night Ferdinand Police were called to Masterbrand Cabinets along the 600 block of West 3rd Street after the package was discovered outside of the plant by a railing next to a culvert.

A company employee notified supervisiors and safety personnel of the package and it’s location which was found to be out of the ordinary.

Police set up a larger perimiter and the Indiana State Police Explosive Ordinance Disposal Team was called in to assist.

The State Police E.O.D. team found that the suspicious package was of no hazzard, the package was removed by ISP and the scene was cleared around a quarter till 11 last night.
