Officials with the City of Huntingburg say due to work on the railroad overpass, 12th Street between Styline Drive and Chestnut Street will be closed beginning today and continuing through this Friday May 18th.
Over 100 foot long steel beams will be installed at the overpass this week.
They say the road will be open to local traffic, but the public is asked to find an alternate route during construction.
