According to the Jasper Police Department, they have received numerous reports of fraudulent money being passed around within the community. The department has received fake bills in the quantities of $100.00, $50.00, and $20.00. The $100 bills are movie money and have text on the front and back reading “For Motion Picture Use Only”. According to Jasper police, the $50.00 and $20.00 bills have “pink Asian writing” on them. Jasper authorities ask that you be vigilant in efforts to recognize these bills. If you come across any of these fake bills you are asked to please contact the Jasper Police Department and report it at (812) 482-2255.
