Around 5:40 pm yesterday officers with the Jasper Police Department were called to the 200 block of Brucke Strasse near the Dubois County Security Center in regards to a vehicle accident.

When police arrived they found that the operator of a pickup, 30-year old Sarah Angerer of Jasper appeared to be under the influence.

Angerer told police that she had used narcotics two days earlier. Police say she was run through a series of field sobriety tests at the scene in which police say she failed.
