Linda L. Giesler, age 70 of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 4:15 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2019, at home.

Linda was born in Jasper, Indiana on November 1, 1948 to Silas and Marie (Engelhart) Giesler.

She was 1967 graduate of Jasper High School and retired from Kimball Electronics in Jasper after forty plus years of service.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in  Jasper, Indiana.

She enjoyed playing cards, crafts, watching I.U. Basketball and the St. Louis Cardinals, and visiting with family.

Surviving are five sisters, Bernice Mathies, Ruth Elliott, Viola Brickey, Betty Wildman (Jim), Sue Friedman (John), all of Jasper, five brothers, Ed Giesler (Helen), Ireland, Bill Giesler, Jasper, Donnie Giesler (Virlee), Jasper, Terry Giesler (Julie), Jasper, and Larry Giesler (Robin) of Indianapolis, nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, four sisters, Virginia Turk, Marge Block, Shirley Mehringer, and Mary Jane Giesler who died in infancy, and two brothers, Charlie Giesler, and Robert Giesler.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Linda L. Giesler will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, IN.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
