Late last year, the Huntingburg and Ferdinand Chambers of Commerce announced that they were exploring a merger of the two organizations into one.  Now, they are ready for the last step of the exploratory process and you can have a say.  Over the past months, they have conducted an online survey and have spent several months talking and listening to chamber members.  The Huntingburg and Ferdinand Chambers of Commerce are asking current chamber members, prospective members, businesses and the public to participate in a focus group to help determine the desire for a proposed merger between the two chambers.   It is only necessary to attend one session and participants can pick the session date and location most convenient for them.

Sessions are expected to last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.  Session 1 is Tuesday, May 21st at 8 in the morning in the Huntingburg Chamber Office.  Session 2 is scheduled for Tuesday, May 28th at 6:30 in the evening at Vincennes University Jasper – CTIM building.  This session will be geared towards the local Merchant Associations, but anyone is welcome to attend.  And the 3rd session isWednesday, May 29th at 8 in the morning in the Ferdinand Library Community Room.   Participants are asked to RSVP to chamberconnect19@gmail.com and state which session they will be attending.  All the information obtained during the last few months will be reviewed by both boards of directors before a final decision is made in mid-June.
