Dr. Christopher Schumacher, formerly of Santa Claus, IN, graduated May 25 from the University of Florida’s College of Veterinary Medicine with a doctor of veterinary medicine degree.
He is a 2012 graduate of Heritage Hills High School and the son of Riley and Mary Jeanne Schumacher of Huntingburg. He did his undergraduate work at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN.
While at the University of Florida, he served as president of Full Spectrum Veterinary Alliance.
He is employed as a veterinarian at the Millhopper Veterinary Medical Center in Gainesville, FL.
