UPDATE: 

The Girl Scouts of Southwest Indiana say a tree fell at Camp Koch resulted in the death of one Girl Scout, and seriously injuring three others.

According to authorities, the others injured were two adults and one juvenile.

The Perry County Sheriff’s office received the call about the tree falling at 11:30 am yesterday.

A press conference will be held tomorrow morning at 9 am central at the Perry County Sheriff’s Office.

ORIGINAL STORY:

At least 3 people are injured after a large tree fell at Camp Koch Girl Scout Camp in Cannelton.

Emergency Responders are on the scene and taking those injured to local hospitals.

The families have reportedly been notified of the names of those injured and the extent of injuries is not available yet.

Representatives from the Girl Scouts are still assessing the situation as members of the Perry County Sheriff’s Department and Emergency Management Agency conduct investigations.
