The Indiana Department of Transportation wants to keep the public informed about the Mid-States Corridor Project.

To do this, the department is holding three public meetings:

  • 5:30 to 7 pm on Monday, August 5th at the Washington High School Auditorium. Attendees are asked to enter through Gate 4 off of the 7th street.
  • 5:30 to 7 pm on Tuesday, August 6th in the Springs Valley High School Cafeteria.
  • 5:30 to 7 pm on Thursday, August 8th in the Cafeteria at Jasper High School.

All of these meetings will feature an open house format. A short presentation about the project will start at 6 pm for each meeting.

The corridor is supposed to begin at the William H. Natcher Bridge crossing of the Ohio River near Rockport, and then continue through Huntingburg and Jasper before extending north to connect to Interstate 69.
