It’s that time of year again…many local schools start in the first few weeks of August.

Southridge High school begins on Wednesday, August 7th. Registration for returning students is currently underway. All 4 Corporation schools will have onsite registration and book rental at Southridge High School on Tuesday, July 30th, and Wednesday, July 31st from 8 am to 3 pm, and 5 pm to 8 pm. School supply lists depend on classes. These lists will be sent home with students within the first week of school.

Greater Jasper Consolidated School’s first day of classes is Wednesday, August 7th. Their textbook registration is already underway for the upcoming school year. Textbook rental fees are due no later than the end of August.

Northeast Dubois High School’s first day of classes is August 7th. Online registration is currently underway, and textbook rental fees are due at the end of August. The school has computers set up to do online registration if you don’t have access to a computer at home.

Forest Park High School welcomes students for their first day on Wednesday, August 7th. Parents should look for an email with details on this year’s orientation. Textbook fees are due no later than August 30th.

North Daviess High School also starts on Wednesday, August 7th. Their new student online registration is already underway, and new student registration begins on July 29th.  In-person returning registration starts on July 30th at the school café from noon to 7. Rental fees are due near the end of August.

Perry Central High School is Tuesday, August 6th. All of their new student and returning student registration is on their website. The school decided to wait until students get into the classrooms before determining rental fees. This is because of some anticipated classroom changes. Bills for textbooks will be available by August 19th and must be paid no later than August 23.

Loogootee Community High School starts its school year on August 13th. And their registration for the school year is officially open. You can get all the paperwork done, and pay fees online. If you need login information, call 812-295-3524 after July 23rd. Starting July 31st, new students can register in person from 9-11am or 1-5 pm in the highs school cafeteria.

Barr Reeves High School starts their school year on August 6. Online registration for the community school opens Tuesday, July 23rd. Onsite registration is available on Tuesday, July 30th from 9-11 am and again from 1 to 5 pm. During these registration times, students can also register for their textbooks. All textbook fees are due near the end of August.
