Donna S. Schnell, age 66, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 3:37 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2019, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
 
Donna was born in Huntingburg, Indiana, on February 1, 1953,  to Clarence and Doris (Matheis) Metz.  She married Kenneth J. Schnell on March 3, 1998.
 
Donna was a 1971 graduate of Jasper High School.  She then graduated from VUJC.
 
She worked in human resources at Kimball in Jasper for 23 years.
 
She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana.
 
She enjoyed crafts, camping, traveling, going on vacations, especially to Gatlinburg, reading, collecting angel figurines, and spending time with family and friends.
 
Surviving are her husband, Kenneth J. Schnell, Jasper, IN,  two sons, Brad (Jennifer) Sitzman, Indianapolis, IN, Nathan Schnell, Jasper, IN, her parents, Clarence and Doris Metz, Jasper, IN, two brothers, Danny (Kathy) Metz, Denver, CO, and Arnie Metz, Salem, IN.
 
A Mass of Christian Burial for Donna S. Schnell will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 26, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow at a later date.
 
A visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2019, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, Indiana.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana at  www.kidney.org/support?sidebar=DonateNowButton or to the wishes of the family.
