Part of 12th Avenue on the city’s south side, from US 231 west to Kimbell will be closed to through traffic for several months.
Officials say this reconstruction project will be done in phases so businesses along the street won’t be disrupted and can operate as normal.
The closure begins Monday, July 15th, and lasts until around November 15th.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible and use County Road 100 South or Division Road as alternate routes.
The closure dates could change due to inclement weather.
