An Indianapolis man is dead after a single-vehicle crash on Tuesday afternoon in Martin County.
Sheriff Deputies received multiple calls reporting an accident on US 231, just south of Loogootee.
A 2011 Chevy Express Van was going southbound on US 231 and left the road for unknown reasons.
The van then struck a utility pole and a tree before coming to a rest on the side of the road.
The driver, identified as Robin I. Shaw, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sheriff Deputies continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
