The Jasper Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle involved in a hit and run on Saturday.
Jasper Police say an older model blue Chevy Camaro was reported running off the road at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Church Avenue just before 4:45 pm on Saturday. The vehicle struck a fire hydrant and then left the scene.
Anyone with information regarding the accident is asked to contact police at 812-482-2255 or 812- 481-COPS the anonymous tip line.
