A red dump truck overturned near Dale this morning.
According to Spencer County Detectives, just before 9:00 am, a personal dump truck overturned at the intersection of Highway 231 and 62 just west of Dale.
This is the intersection that leads from Dale to Gentryville.
Life Flight along with the Spencer County Sheriff’s Department were on the scene. The victim in the dump truck was Life Flighted away from the scene. Spencer County Detectives say that the injury the victim obtained is not life-threatening.
The dump truck was hauling gravel. A second vehicle was pushed back due to the graveling spilling out of the truck. The driver complained of neck pain, however, was treated at the scene and was able to drive away.
The intersection was closed for a period due to the accident.
