Charles Ronald Donaldson, age 71, of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away at 3:05 p.m., on Thursday, September 26, 2019, at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper.
He was born April 18, 1948 in Chicago, IL to Charles Henry and Elizabeth Cecelia (Hackett) Donaldson. He married Donlita Ralston on February 6, 1970 in Oaklawn, Illinois. He was an Army veteran who served in Thailand. He was a truck driver for Silver Line Trucking. Charles is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John Donaldson; a sister, Marian Donaldson.
He is survived by his wife, Donlita Donaldson of Huntingburg; and two sons and daughter-in-law, Shawn (Brandy) Donaldson of Griffith, IN and Charles Ronald Donaldson, Jr. of New York; a sister, Charlene Donaldson; a brother, James Donaldson; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
