No injuries were reported after a pick-up truck went off the road on Jasper’s northside last week.

Police say that 16-year-old Blake Danzer of Jasper was driving his Chevrolet pick-up westbound on County Road 400 North around 7:20 am last Wednesday.

According to Dubois County Sheriff Deputies, Danzer looked briefly looked away from the road, causing him to go off the northside.

The truck continued going along a ditch, striking a decorative wooded landscape bridge in a yard, hitting and cracking a concrete driveway, before striking a Frontier Communications pole and pedestal box.

Danzer eventually came to a stop after hitting a tree, then spinning off, hitting a road sign.

Costs of damages range between $5,000 to $10,000.
