Ruth Glen Burlingame Mann, age 91 of Jasper,  IN, formerly of Ireland, IN, passed away at 11:43 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, IN.
 
Ruth was born in Velpen, IN on April 19, 1928 to the late Glen and Emma (Robinson) Burlingame.  She married Lester W. Mann on February 14, 1947 in St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boone Township in Dubois County.  He preceded her in death on December 23, 2011.
 
She was a graduate of the Ireland High School Class of 1945, and she met with her classmates yearly to celebrate.
 
She was  a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boone Township, where she served and volunteered as an officer for various committees. 
 
She was a member of the Ireland Homemakers club.
 
She enjoyed sewing, cross-stitch, knitting, crocheting, tatting, baking, reading, enjoyed working on  puzzles, and her flower garden, especially her geraniums.  She loved the Christmas holidays, and anything that sparkled or glittered.  Ruth and her late husband loved to travel.  
 
Surviving are one daughter, Linda M. Selb, Jasper, three grandchildren, Chad Morton, Ryan Morton, and Emma Halter-Mann, eight great grandchildren, and one daughter-in-law Cheryl Halter.  
 
Preceding her in death beside her husband were two daughters, Martha L. Corn, and Rebecca L. Mann, one brother Paul Burlingame, and three son-in-laws, Bruce J. Selb, Randy Morton, and Roger Corn.
 
Funeral services for Ruth G. Mann will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boone Township, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  Reverend  Timothy Kraemer will officiate.
 
A visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, and from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service time at the church on Friday
