Three people are injured after a head-on crash in Jasper Saturday night.

Police say 17-year-old Kyle Allen of Jasper was going eastbound on State Road 56 but failed to yield the right of way when turning onto St. Charles Street, crashing into 78-year-old Jerry Watson of Illinois.

Allen was treated at the scene for chest pain and a cut on his hand.

Watson and a passenger were transported to Memorial Hospital for shoulder and abdominal pain.

Allen was cited for Failure to Yield the Right of Way.

Police say both vehicles are totaled.
