U.S. Small Business Administration officials, Senator Mike Braun, and several small business partners put on their walking shoes and spent the morning visiting shops around the Courthouse Square today.

Regional Administrator for Region V of the US Small business Administration, Robert Scott, says they visited with owners and saw all that Jasper has to offer.

The Jasper Courthouse Square is just one stop of their third annual Small Business Saturday #ShopSmall Walking tour.

Other stops on the tour include Main Street in Madison and downtown New Albany.

These walking tours take place before Small business Saturday during the second and third week of November.

Scott explains why shopping small is crucial to the local economy.
