Spencer County is getting a new coal mine.
The Spencer County Board of Zoning and Planning approved a permit for a coal mine at their monthly meeting last Thursday. The coal mine will be run by Sun Energy LLC.
The Coal mine will be located between Dale and Mariah Hill.
