Stealing from a local department store put a Jasper woman in handcuffs.
25-year-old Miranda Shoultz was arrested on Friday evening after trying to leave Walmart without paying for items.
Shoultz was originally apprehended by the Asset Protection Department at Walmart before being taken into custody by the Jasper Police.
