Some Washington residents may lose power for a few hours next week.

The City of Washington Power and Light Department says they are planning to cut power to fix a broken pole at Brett Cabel Road and Highway 57 next Thursday.

This outage is scheduled to start at 8:30 am on Thursday, September 24th, weather permitting.

It is expected to last four hours, or until the repairs are complete.

This will affect homes from Northeast 12th Street to Highway 57 North, including Lynwood Drive, Cynthia Court, and Northside Drive.

It will also affect those who live along Highway 57 North between Brett Cabel Road and Viola Avenue.
