Election season is starting to heat up. But according to a local sheriff’s office, some people are taking it too far.

Perry County Sheriff Deputies say that they are receiving numerous calls about people stealing or vandalizing political campaign signs.

Deputies say these acts could lead to charges like Theft, Criminal Mischief, and Criminal Trespass.
