A suspicious item was uncovered in Orange County.

Tuesday night, the Paoli Police Department got a call about a suspicious item on the south side of Paoli Square.

After investigating the scene, the area was shut down.

Indiana State Police were called in for assistance and were able to determine the package posed no threat to the community and it was removed from the area.
