Although sunshine is expected to dominate the area on Wednesday, those who live within Jasper city limits will still hear storm sirens.
The Jasper Police Department is conducting a monthly test of the city Tornado sirens on Wednesday, September 1st at 4 pm.
This test will help ensure that all of the city’s sirens work properly.
