Leaving without paying for merchandise at Walmart landed a Jasper woman behind bars.

Police were called to Walmart to assist Asset Protection with a female being detained for shoplifting on Saturday afternoon.

Police say the woman, 22-year-old McKayla Nash under-rang merchandise and stole approximately $30.00 of unscanned items.

Nash was lodged into the Dubois County Security Center for theft.
