31-year-old Kyle Schepers of Jasper was traveling east on 47th Street on Saturday evening when he failed to yield the right of way to 62-year-old Ricky Holt of Mitchell at the intersection with Newton Street, crashing into him.

The impact of the crash threw Schepers off his moped.

He suffered head and arm injuries and was taken by EMS to Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Holt was not injured.

Schepers was cited for failing to yield the right of way. His moped was totaled.
