Indiana is facing the latest wave of COVID-19, with 4,157 new cases reported today for the state, and 31 new deaths. To date, there have been a total of 922,320 cases for COVID-19, and a total of 14,531 deaths reported in the state, with 465 additional deaths ruled as probably associated with COVID-19. There has also been 108 confirmed case of Multi-system inflammatory syndrome in children. As of right now, only 54.4% of Indiana’s population is fully vaccinated.
Dubois County saw 33 new cases and no new deaths reported today by the Indiana Department of Health, with a 7 Day positivity rate of 15.4% amongst all tests, and 27% amongst Unique Individuals.To date, there have been a total of 7,555 cases for the county, and 123 Dubois County residents have died from the virus. As of right now, only 57.6% of the county is fully vaccinated.
For the surrounding counties: Spencer has 10 new cases, with 50.9% of its population vaccinated. Daviess has 27 new cases, with 36.3% of its population vaccinated. Martin has 18 new cases, with 40.3% of its population vaccinated. Lawrence has 25 new cases, with 48.2% of its population vaccinated. Orange has 12 new cases, with 48.4% of its population vaccinated. Pike has 8 new cases, with 42.4% of its population vaccinated. Crawford has 6 new cases, with 45.5% of its population vaccinated. Perry has 19 new cases, with 57.2% of its population vaccinated. And Warrick has 49 new cases and 1 new death, with 63.8% of its population vaccinated.
34.3% of ICU Beds for Indiana District 10 are in use for Covid alone.
