A Warrick County firefighter has died after suffering a medical emergency while in the line of duty.
According to the Elberfeld Fire Department Facebook Page, firefighter Duane Erwin suffered a medical emergency after responding to two fire alarms on Wednesday.
He died early Saturday morning.
Erwin is remembered as being a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather, and a valuable asset to the Fire Department.
