A Spencer County man spent time behind bars after driving drunk over the weekend.

An Indiana State Trooper stopped a truck for speeding and driving down the center of the road on County Road 700 East in Spencer County around 12:45 am Saturday.

After investigating, the driver, 30-year-old Caleb Xanders of Santa Claus, was found to have a blood alcohol content of .088 g/210 L.

He was arrested and transported to the Spencer County Jail on charges of Operating a vehicle while intoxicated with endangerment, Operating a vehicle while intoxicated, and operating a vehicle with a BAC of .08 or higher, and reckless driving.
