The Indiana State Police responded to a crash near the Dubois and Orange County line, on State Road 56, early Sunday, July 2nd morning. When Trooper Noah Ewing arrived at the crash site he found the wrecked vehicle on its side in a ditch on State Road 56 with the driver, 44-year-old Heath Fest, of Jasper, sitting on the crashed car.

Fest was displaying signs of impairment and was issued field sobriety tests. After failing those tests, the driver was transported to Memorial Hospital for a chemical test that found Fest to have a BAC of .163%. He was charged with a Class A Misdemeanor for Operating While Intoxicated.
