Next Step Recovery Home is holding an open house to unveil its new home in Jasper.

The event is set to take place on Thursday, November 16th, with a ribbon cutting taking place at 3 PM, followed by an open house until 5 PM.

The Jasper home is located at 2603 Brosmer Street and is owned by Next Step Recovery Home, a newly formed, local nonprofit organization.

The residence will be leased to the nonprofit Behind the Wire Ministries, a Level III recovery residence certified by the Division of Mental Health and Addiction, which will run the recovery program and be responsible for the day-to-day operations.

The community is encouraged to tour the home any time between 3 PM and 5 PM and learn more about the recovery program. Staff members and program graduates will be present to answer questions. Additional parking is available at the Dubois County Museum.
