Early Sunday morning, December 3rd, Indiana State Trooper Andrew Jones stopped a vehicle on SR 66 for a headlight that was out. The driver, 24-year-old, Lucas Weinzapfel of Evansville, showed signs of being impaired and failed field sobriety tests. An OWI investigation and vehicle search led to the arrest of Weinzapfel. Weinzapfel was transported to the Spencer County jail where he is being held on bond.  Weinzapfel was charged with OWI, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Paraphernalia.
