Patricia A. Pennington, age 79 of Jasper, Indiana passed away at 9:20 pm on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the Timbers of Jasper.

Patricia was born in Whiting, Indiana on January 20, 1944 to Samuel L. and Mary P. (Kowalczyk) Farina.  She married Larry Pennington on November 19, 1960 in St. Mary Catholic Church in Hammond, Indiana.

She was a homemaker and worked various other jobs throughout her life.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana.

Patricia lived a life full of fun, adventure, music, laughter, family, friends, and most importantly love.  She loved listening to music, dancing to her record player in her living room, especially to Elvis.  She enjoyed fishing adventures and sweet talking the fish to take her bait, watching her son and grandsons race motocross, having gatherings with family and friends, and traveling with her family.  Patricia had a never-ending supply of love that lives on in each person whose lives she touched.

Surviving is her husband; Larry D. Pennington of Jasper, one daughter; Jeanne Schitter (Bob), Jasper, one son; David Pennington (Carla), French Lick, three grandchildren; Valerie Wood (D.J.), David Pennington (Andrea), and Michael Pennington (Kristina), five great grandchildren; Harper, Knox and Crew Wood and Weston and Casey Pennington, three sisters; Mary Ann Molden, DeMotte, IN, Joan Clark, Jasper, and Samuela Farina, DeMotte, IN, one brother; Donald Farina, Ferdinand, IN, and many nieces and nephews.   

Preceding her in death were her parents, one sister; Sandra Schill, and two brothers; Leonard and Samuel Farina.  

A Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia A. Pennington will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass time at St. Mary Catholic Church on Tuesday.
