Beginning on or around Monday, May 20, crews will begin daily road closures on State Road 56 near French Lick in Dubois and Orange counties. These daily closures will occur between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays. Closures will allow for a chip seal and fog seal project. Work is expected to take two weeks to complete, depending on the weather.

The official detour for this closure is State Road 545 to State Road 164 to State Road 145. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
