On Wednesday, May 15th, 2024, Chief of the Santa Claus Police Department, James Faulkenburg, released the following statement on the ongoing case of cyber-bulling that various Heritage Hills High School students have been victims of over the past school year:

“On 05-15-2024, with assistance of the Indiana State Police, the Santa Claus Police Department located the person/persons running the Instagram page that was bullying students at Heritage Hills High School. Unfortunately, we cannot release names due to the individuals being juveniles. I would like to assure the public that there is no one in danger. We are working with the Spencer County Prosecutor’s Office and Probation regarding whether there will be charges filed. I would also like to inform everyone that the individuals we interviewed at the beginning of this case were not involved. We would like to thank everyone that reached out to assist in this case in any way. We do not, at any time, condone bullying, and we will continue to work closely with the school to combat this in our schools and community.”

This has been an ongoing investigation for the Santa Claus Police Department over the past few weeks.
