Tell City has scheduled its annual Trash Collection Clean-Up Days for June 3-8, 2024. Residents can dispose of miscellaneous items on their regular trash collection day, along with their household trash. Regular trash bags must have red tags as usual.

Key Points:

  • No recyclables, including cardboard, will be picked up this week.
  • Restrictions include a limit of one pick-up truck load per residence and a ban on tires, hide-a-beds, carpet, paint cans, LP tanks, toxic items (such as batteries), Freon items (like refrigerators, air conditioners, dehumidifiers), roofing materials, asphalt shingles, scrap wood, or any building materials.
  • Large dumpsters will be available at 1102 5th Street (Street Dept. Garage) from Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Saturday, 7:00 AM to noon. An additional fee of $10.00 will be charged for loads brought to the bins, determined by representatives of the Tell City Trash Dept.
