16-year-old Nora Welp, a Junior at Forest Park Junior-Senior High School, will soon become an Eagle Scout in the Scouts BSA Program.

This is due to her project at 18th Street Park in Ferdinand.

Nora recently created and finished an Eagle Scout Project that featured a Story walk along the jogging path at the park. The story features a children’s classic: Curious George.

Nora is currently awaiting the review process to be made into an Eagle Scout, something less than 10% of Scouts have ever obtained.
