Monday, July 8th marked the start of the 23rd annual Cops Cycling for Survivors bicycle ride around Indiana. The ride pays respect to Indiana’s fallen law enforcement heroes and lets their survivors know that they and their loved ones are not forgotten. The cyclists began their 13-day journey this Monday and will pay special tribute to the seven Indiana officers who died in the line of duty in 2023, including Sgt. Heather Glenn.

On July 16, 2024, the cyclists are expected to arrive in Tell City to honor Sgt. Glenn and her survivors. Local citizens are requested to greet the cyclists with an enthusiastic Perry County welcome. The cyclists are projected to enter Tell City around 2 pm, where they will first visit local cemeteries. Eventually, they will travel Tell Street before stopping at Tell City High School. All citizens are encouraged to stage along Tell Street between 23rd and 14th Streets to show support for the group’s mission.

Please note that a number of factors may impact travel and schedule, so you are encouraged to follow Cops Cycling for Survivors’ official page on Facebook for daily updates on their journey.
