On August 17th, the Southern Indiana Purdue Ag Center (SIPAC) and Purdue Extension, in collaboration with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (IDNR), will host the SIPAC Pond Management Field Day. This event, located just north of the Patoka Lake dam, will provide comprehensive coverage on various aspects of pond and lake management.

Participants will gain valuable insights into pond construction and maintenance, learn about different fish species and stocking practices, and explore vegetation identification and management techniques. Additionally, there will be discussions on aquaculture suitable for the southern Indiana region.
