As part of the Multi-Use Trail Extension Project, the city and its contractor will begin work on Northwood Avenue from Newton Street to St. Charles Street. This construction will necessitate the closure of the eastbound and center turn lanes along this stretch. Westbound traffic from Newton Street to St. Charles Street will remain open.
The closure is set to start on or after Wednesday, July 24th, and is expected to last until mid-November. A dedicated detour route for eastbound traffic has been established, with signs posted to guide drivers along the marked detour.
