Tell City, Indiana residents now have a designated place to drop off their retired American Flags thanks to a bunch of wonderful people out at Branchville Correctional Facility.

Residents can bring the old flags to City Hall located at 700 Main Street and drop the flags in the box located inside the building, next to the Buffalo, right off the Elevator bank.

There is no charge for this service. All flags will be properly disposed of in the correct, respectful, and legal way.

All materials were donated, and the box itself was built by the BCF Pallet Shop, led by Beth Brown and Teagan Gogel. The paint job was done by Michelle Woodland and her team.
