Tours and demonstrations are set to take place during the Jasper Strassenfest on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024, at the Alexander Schoolhouse, Jasper City Mill, Schaeffer Barn, and Spirit of Jasper Train.
- The Alexander One-Room Schoolhouse will be open for tours from 9 AM until 3 PM. A special movie, Banished into Paradise, will be played on repeat from 11 AM to 1 PM inside.
- The Jasper City Mill will be open from 9 AM to 5 PM with live music played on the porch by Jed Guillaume & the Sweet Water Band from 12 to 3 PM.
- The Schaeffer Barn rooms including the display room will be open from 10 AM to 2 PM with demonstrations of stone cutting from 11 AM to 1 PM and crosscut sawing.
- The Spirit of Jasper Train will have 1-hour rides with snacks and a cash bar available onboard. Departure times are set for 11 AM, 12:30 PM, 2 PM, 3:30 PM, 5 PM, and 6:30 PM. Tickets are $10 per person and can be reserved online at spiritofjaspertrain.com or by calling (812)-482-5959.
