A two-vehicle accident caused the temporary closure of US 231 just south of the Huntingburg Airport on Wednesday Afternoon. Authorities reported that both parties involved sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene by Dubois County EMS. The roadway was shut down for about an hour as emergency responders worked to clear the scene and ensure safety.
