Vincennes University has announced they will be holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the launch of their first-ever VU Design and Innovation Training Studio on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024, from 9 to 10 AM (ET) on the 3rd floor of the Vincennes University Summers Center, located at 118 E. St. Clair Street in Vincennes.

This Studio was developed with funding from Lilly Endowment Inc. and is part of VU’s ongoing efforts to partner with Purdue University Indiana Next Generation Manufacturing Competitiveness Center (IN-MaC) and Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Inc. (TMMI) to strengthen the future of STEM education. 

The training studio will provide K-12 students, college students, educators, and community partners in Southern Indiana and Southwestern Indiana access to technologies, activities, and lessons preparing the future workforce for emerging careers in Industry 4.0 such as advanced manufacturing, robotics, and AI.
