Over the weekend the first bricks were laid in the new Crawford County Sheriff’s Memorial, adjacent to the Crawford County Judicial Complex in English Indiana. This is a way to honor current and previous men and women who took an oath to serve their county, their state, and Crawford County.

If you or a loved one has served and was a paid Deputy with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department and would like to be honored please contact Chief Deputy William Breeding at wbreeding@crawfordcounty.in.gov or call (812) 338-3616 and ask for Chief Deputy Breeding.

You must provide proof of service. This could be in the form of an academy number, old identification cards, or photographs that accurately depict enough information.

The name of you or your loved one and the academy class will be engraved into the bricks and placed around the memorial.

To view the full list of who was already honored over the weekend, please visit the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department Facebook page.
