The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office is excited to welcome Marty Moore to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office as their newest Jail Officer! Marty brings a wealth of experience and a dedication to service that they are confident will greatly benefit their team and community.

Marty served in the US Army from 2000-2003 as an Ammunition Specialist, stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas. His time in the military involved patrolling ammunition supply points and training on engaging surrendering enemy personnel. This background has given him valuable skills in situational awareness and de-escalation.

After working in various career fields following his time in the Army, Marty shared,

“I decided to apply for this position because I was drawn to the camaraderie and community service that the career offers.”

He is particularly excited about contributing to public safety and setting a positive example for his family. Outside of work, Marty enjoys listening to music, watching movies, spending time with family, and engaging in various outdoor activities.
